Reading in June...

Here are the books I have enjoyed this month:

Cross the Line
by James Patterson
#24 in the Alex Cross

Mischling
by Affinity Konar
This book is historical fiction about the experiments that were done by Dr. Mengele during WWII.  Since we have non-fiction accounts of these atrocities I thought I wouldn't care for a fictional account but I enjoyed this book than I expected.

The Scarpetta Factor
by Patricia Cornwell

Surviving the Angel of Death: The True Story of a Mengele Twin in Auschwitz
by Eva Mozes Kor
The true account of "Mischling".

I See You
by Clare Mackintosh
Quite a page turner, the ending was disappointing for me but I still enjoyed the book.

by Elizabeth Bard
This was a re-read for me.  The story is amusing and the recipes are delicious!

by Diana Gabaldon
#8 in the Outlander series.  I really enjoyed this book but it made me a little sad knowing the end of the series is approaching!

by Elizabeth Bard
The sequel to "Lunch in Paris". A deeper story line, and more delicious recipes!

by Elizabeth Strout
I wanted to like this book, it has gotten some rave reviews but it just didn't work for me.

'til next time...
