Reading in July...

Here are the books I have been enjoying this month:

Death at the Chateau Bremont
by M. L. Longworth
I have only read a couple of these mysteries but I am looking forward to reading more soon!

Midnight at Marble Arch: A Charlotte and Thomas Pitt Novel
by Anne Perry
I will always love reading more about Thomas and Charlotte Pitt but this is not my favorite book of the series. Some things just aren't believable and I wish there had been one more chapter to tie up a few loose ends.

Almost Missed You
by Jessica Strawser
A psychological thriller, hard to put down!

Hourglass: Time, Memory, Marriage
by Dani Shapiro

Sycamore Row
by John Grisham

The Hate U Give
by Angie Thomas
This may be one of my favorites this year!  Such a relevant book for the terrible things we have been hearing about in the news.  I have recommended this book to many!

Same Kind of Different As Me: A Modern-Day Slave, an International Art Dealer, and the Unlikely Woman Who Bound Them Together
by Ron Hall and Denver Moore
I am part of a book club on Facebook and this was the July book.  It had not been on my radar before but I'm glad I read it!  Truly and inspirational story!

Our Longest Days: A People's History of the Second World War
This is a compilation of the entries written for the Mass Observation Project during WWII.

'til next time...
