My kiddos love their books, and love to be read to. I know that is normal for this age but I am really hoping that they inherit my love of books!

Macsmail: My name is Melanie and I am a 30-something wife and mother living in the Northern Virginia area. I currently have the opportunity to be a stay-at-home mom which has been wonderful. I have a boy that was born in the summer of ‘08 and a daughter that wa born in the fall of ‘09. As much as I enjoy being at home most days are so busy I feel I never have time to form a coherent thought, that is why I started this blog. Mainly it is a way for me to keep a journal of my thoughts but it also gives me the chance to take a moment, sit down and organize my thoughts a little. By writing about my day to day life I have a way to preserve some of the wonderful moments in life and to remind myself that everyday is an opportunity to create more memories. If anyone is reading this blog then I hope they enjoy it!
